Hey everyone, I'm bumping off the old journal so I can post up a few new updates that's been going around my household.

First off, I did very well on this current week of dieting, for I lost six pounds. Added to the total amount I had lost over the past six weeks, I have lost a total of twenty-one and a half pounds! My pants will be falling down around my ankles in no time if I keep this up! :'D

Secondly, we've got a bunch of new animals around the place in addition to our cats. My grandpa's wife, Elsa, had gotten a pair of parakeets a few months back, which I dubbed 'Kiwi' and 'Peanut'. They're pretty well behaved, but they do tend to get into noisy spells where they flap around the cage kicking up a racket. Elsa also got a reddish-purple betta fish, which I named 'Toru', and thankfully the only 'noise' he kicks up is when I drop food in his bowl and he all but flies out of the water to snatch it up. We also have a new shipment of about a hundred Rhode Island Red baby chickens, and they were living in a large rabbit cage on the front porch until they were moved into the chicken coop, which is currently going through an interior remodeling. All the disturbance is causing a slight reduction in the chicken's egg-laying, but hopefully when all the work is done the adult hens will get back to laying at full capacity.

Oh, and speaking of baby animals, Elsa also went and got herself a puppy. (Jeebus woman, stop bringing all these animals in the house because I'm the one who has to feed them, ya know! ) He's a little Rottweiler mix, a few months old, and he's sweet and cute now, but I'm a little apprehensive about how big he's going to get, not to mention what sort of personality he'll have as he matures. The indoor cats, particularly my cat Mittens, are rather wary about him and tend to avoid him, but he did manage to sniff noses with my grandpa's cat, Socks, so I guess after a while they'll get used to each other. As for what he's called, Elsa's going around calling him some daft Spanish name, 'Chacolin' or whatever the hell it's pronounced. I'm not particularly fond of the name, so I've been calling him 'Mocha' (or 'Moe' for short)  due to his dark brown and coffee-colored fur. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of him up sometime so you can all see what he looks like.

And lastly, I've been currently working on a revamp of BeatBox, one of my Transformers Animated characters. I've been thinking about changing BeatBox's design for a little while now, and I've just drawn out the final version for his revamped design. I think it looks pretty good, and I'll try to get it colored and posted up soon so everybody can tell me what they think of his new look.
